Yahoo kindle group down temporarily?
I am sure not happy that the yahoo group is down but Welcome any newcomers to the kindlechat site. I would imagine it will be back soon as Yahoo is normally very reliable and responsive. Until then, by all means, the more the merrier.
I was wondering if there was room for two strong kindle forums and I guess my answer came with the fact that we have 46 members while the initial yahoo group grew to over 700. Hopefully it will be back online soon, but until then maybe we will get the critical mass we need to really get the kindlechat forums going.

I just read where Amazon plans to increase the price of eBooks to as much $15. That will be the end of me purchasing eBooks. $10 is already too high. I just bought a hardback copy of “The Help” at Costco for $13.00. It’s #1 on the NY Times Bestseller List. I prefer to read real books anyway. The only reason I bought a Kindle was because they were considerably cheaper.
I’m empathetic to book publishers who can sell their books for only $13, but the cost for Amazon to send me an eBook should be much much less than a hardback book.
