Supposedly Alt+Next Page only works on 1st Generation Kindle.

Just got my kindle, downloaded a 1000 page book that I was in the middle of reading as a paperback book, so what I did to find my spot was type a few words of the paragraph I was searching for in the Menu option “search this book” and there I was, where I had left off . Did not have to press “next page” 300 times nor did the ALT+ next page work for me.

I sent a pdf document containing tables for free conversion. It was successfully changed to awz format. But when I transferred it to my Kindle it is not showing the tables / text.
